Jesse Rowan has been invited by 'Need to Succeed' to represent our P&C Gonski Sub Committee at a NSW Symposium in Sydney this Thursday.
The Symposium, called 'Need to Succeed: What next for fairer school funding?' is the first of its kind in NSW.
She will be joining with principals, teachers, parents, students, systems leaders and not-for-profit organisations to explore new data, discuss why Gonski still matters and hear how NSW is rolling out a needs-based funding model to give all students a chance to learn.
Key speakers include NSW Education Minister, the Hon. Adrian Piccoli MP and Dr Ken Boston, Gonski review panellist and representatives from the public, independent and Catholic school sectors. Jesse will be interviewed on stage to describe what our Gonski Sub Committee is planning to do at the grass-roots level to encourage others to join in to support the push for fairer funding.
Jesse is well-prepared and excited to be involved at this level of discussion. This a great compliment to our school, to our P&C and to our Gonski Sub Committee. We wish her well!
